We are thrilled to announce that UpWest Labs was picked among first accelerators to partner with Google’s new Campus Tel Aviv initiative. We are excited to work with Google’s talented teams in Israel to offer our entrepreneurs a rich and dynamic space and program prior to arriving to Silicon Valley. Looking forward to team up with Eyal Miller and Amir Shevat who are heading the Google Accelerator program and work to build and support Israel’s startup ecosystem.
“We launched Campus Tel Aviv – a one-floor event and community space made available to start-ups, developers and entrepreneurs – aimed at encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in the Israeli tech community. We will hold regular events for the Israeli tech community, a ‘device lab’ to give developers the chance to try out projects on a range of devices and we will also host “Google Launchpad” – a two-week program to cover subjects including user interface, product strategy & technology, marketing, business development and analytic / measurement tools. We are very happy to partner with Upwest labs, and looking forward to meeting Upwest Labs’ teams on Campus Tel Aviv.” – Eyal Miller, New Business Development, Google Israel.
Google announced and inaugurated its new campus earlier this week with the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and was covered by the press here at TheNextWeb and Globes Israel.
