Dovi Frances is an international financier, an entrepreneur, and Managing Partner at SGVC residing in Malibu, California. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel to an eastern European family of Holocaust survivors, Frances served as a Company Commander (Captain) in the Israeli Defense Force stationed in the Gaza Strip and Negev Desert. After his military service in 2000, he was a Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Mitsubishi Motors and Hyundai Motor Company’s largest subsidiaries in Israel. In 2005, Frances earned his dual BA from the Ben Gurion University in Business Administration and Psychology and graduated in June 2008 with a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Following UCLA, he joined Deutsche Bank as a private banker in their Los Angeles office. On February 1, 2011, Frances was named president of SG Acquisitions, LLC. SG Acquisitions is a multifaceted investment firm and family-office owned by billionaire Sergey Grishin. Frances and Grishin are the co-founders of SG Private Wealth Advisors, SG VC, and SG Premier Lending Group. On September 30, 2011, Frances was awarded Pacific Coast Business Times’ 40 Under 40 award recognizing entrepreneurs and business leaders under the age of 40. He holds a security registered representative Series 63 and Series 7 with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the State of California. Frances serves as a director of RosEvro Development, one of Russia’s largest real estate development companies. Frances also serves as a director on the board of the Jewish charity organization, Jewish Graduate Student Initiative (JGSI).
